Travel Beauty Tuesday: Korres Holiday in Greece Gift Set

When it comes to beach holiday beauty, I've got two priorities - keeping my skin protected with SPF30+ and cooling off in the shower after a sweaty betty afternoon on the sun lounger. So the idea of a Korres' Holiday in Greece Gift Set, which is full of invigorating bath and body treats, was right up my beauty street.

The five-piece set includes:
(1) Basil Lemon Body Milk (40ml)
(2) Basil Lemon Shower Gel (40ml)

These smell divine and the formula of the body milk is really light and moisturising.

(3) Guava Body Butter (40ml)
(4) Guava Shower Gel (40ml)

These have more of a tropical feel and the body butter is great for that extra step of post-shower pampering.

(5) Aloe & Dittany Shampoo

This is my least favourite item in the gift set, but everyone needs an emergency shampoo on holiday, even if you just use it after a dip in the pool!

AND I have some good news - for the month of June, this set is on offer for £12.67 down from £19 on ASOS. You can thank me later ladies!

March Glossybox: City Chic

This month's Glossybox was based on the theme of city chic and came with a handy travel guide for some of the best cities in the world, such as Rome and New York. Although I loved the idea behind March's box, and obv the super cute travel stickers that came with it, I have to say I was disappointed with the products I received.

The products are all nice and I would probably use them, but I don't sign up to a subscription service to get products I can easily buy on the highstreet. I want to be able to try products before they launch and get a box of buys that blows me away, and this box didn't overwhelm me with beauty joy at all!

Left to right: Jelly Pong Pong Lip Blush, Nails Inc in St James, Elizabeth Arden Fragrance-Free Eight-Hour Cream, Juicy Couture Couture La La, Tresemme Salon Finish Extra Hold Hairspray

1/Jelly Pong Pong Lip Blush

I do love pink lipsticks and have always been intrigued about lip crayons - I found this one to be a nice colour but it definitely needed a lot of strokes to build a strong enough colour. I wouldn't buy this but it's good to try one!

2/Nails Inc in St James

I love a bright red but it's a fairly classic nail shade. I would have loved to see a limited edition polish or a holographic one - just something slightly more special than a postbox red. Having said that, I do like Nails Inc and it is a beautiful colour polish.

3/Elizabeth Arden Fragrance-Free Eight-Hour Cream

It's safe to say that this product needs no introduction! It's great to have a sample of this, as I've actually never tried it. It has quite a thick, gel-like consistency which I didn't expect, but I think I like it. Would love to use this on dry skin and just for a quick touch-up on my hands during the day.

4/Juicy Couture, Couture La La

This fragrance sample from Juicy Couture is fruity, which is good because I prefer fruity perfumes overall. It has a really nice summery, slightly citrusy smell to it. I would use it but I don't think I would ever buy the full size one.

5/Tresemme Salon Finish Extra Hold Hairspray

Although I love Tresemme hair products, I don't really like that it's included in the Glossybox. It's such a 'normal' beauty product and, although it's handy for travelling, this is the sort of thing I would buy in Boots/Superdrug. But my mum uses it, so she is happy with her newly-acquired freebie!

Do you like the products in this month's Glossybox? What did you get? xxx
