NOTD: Louvre Me, Louvre Me Not

Violet, lilac, mauve, amethyst and eggplant - you name it, purple's got it. So it comes as no surprise that OPI's Louvre Me, Louvre Me Not is rocking my nail world this week.

My nails have been breaking like crazy recently, so I had to schedule in a session to give them a file, buff and paint. This beaut of a shade looks great on my freshly square tiny tidy nails.

I think you'll find that's another brownie point for OPI.

NOTD: Mod Mermaid

Have you ever heard the story of the girl who went to Topshop's make-up section and bought only one nail polish? No? That's because it has NEVER happened.

For me, Topshop nail polishes are extremely addictive. I don't know how they do it, but they get all of their colours just right and they always look so good against the white and black polka dot twisty top (technical, I know).

When I clocked my eyes on Mermaid, it wasn't an option to leave the shop without it. And so my love affair with this two-toned shade began, and I have been applying it more than any other polish in my collection.

It's such a beautiful and versatile colour, which makes it suitable for wear all year round.

Another great thing about Topshop polishes is that they don't chip for ages - which is always a good thing!

I think I'm in lacquer love...

NOTD: Iced Strawberry

Nail polish is not something I usually spend an excessive amount of money on, which is why I surprised myself when I popped NARS' Thakoon Nail Polish in Ratin Jot in my virtual shopping bag a couple of weeks ago.

But sometimes nail shades are just too irresistable. Ratin Jot is the perfect cool pink, and the risk I took by paying almost £13 for the pleasure has paid off. The application was almost seamless and the colour payoff was instant after one coat, which is pretty amazing.

I did have my doubts about NARS as a nail brand - I just didn't put the two together - but now I'll be adding to my collection. After the spending ban of course...

NOTD: The Truth Is, I'm Toxic

The sun makes me happy. It also makes me want to wear crazy nail and lip colours, hence today's NOTD using Toxic Apple from the Model's Own Ice Neon collection.

I have to admit, I was a bit worried when I applied the first coat as the colour payoff wasn't great. However, after another coat or two, it looked pretty solid.

There's no mistaking this colour as anything else but NEON green. It's literally like Model's Own has bottled up some highlighter fluid. Incredible.

NOTD: Fiesta Sparkle

So today's NOTD is a combo of cherry red and a tad of golden glitz. I've been going for green/blue shades lately and thought it was time for a change, so went with a classic bright red, which incidentally is my favourite colour.

The products I used to create this nail look were OPI's Big Apple Red and GOSH Cosmetics' Greed gold glitter. I adore the shade of red and the addition of OPI's Start-to-Finish top coat really sets it off. In fact, I love this red polish so much that I might actually buy it as a full size when the mini runs out.

NOTD: Acid Bright Blue

Ever since I went on a pay day ASOS & Space NK haul back in February,  I've been waiting for the perfect moment to try out OPI's Can't Find My Czechbook from the Euro Centrale collection. And that time has come.

Everyone knows I love OPI - there's just so many pretty colours! But as soon as I clocked eyes on this gorgeous bright blue on ASOS I just had to have it. It's such a great shade for summer - imagine how fab it would look with a tan?!

As always, I can't fault OPI nail polishes. I'm in love all over again :)

NOTD: Coral Crush

Dear OPI,
I love you, but I think I might be leaving you.

Yes, you heard that right ladies and gents - I'm prepared to give up OPI for Revlon (temporarily, of course).

Everyone knows I am into orange at the moment for lips, but last night I seriously fell in love with One Perfect Coral. It's just so beautiful!

Not only is the colour stunning, but also the application was really simple and I didn't have to spend ages removing polish from the edges of my nails like I usually do!

I'm really looking forward to pay day so I can add some more colours to my collection.

What do you think of this nail polish? Any recommendations? xxx

NOTD: Ocean Glitter

The sudden appearance of the sun in London after a shockingly freezing Monday has got me thinking about all things bright and beautiful. That's why I decided to come up with an 'ocean glitter' nail look by using a strong base colour and two coats of gold glitter polish.

What I Used

Left: Bourjois So Laque Ultra Shine in Vert Chlorophylle
Middle: GOSH Nail Polish in Greed
Right: L.A. Colors Rapid Dry Top Coat

NOTD: OPI Kiss Me On My Tulips

Oh HI pretty bright pink!

I'm slowly but surely making my way through the OPI top ten set I got for Christmas and I just couldn't resist trying this shade out last night. It's so true to the way it looks in the bottle and I love that.

As the Spring/Summer season is approaching (hopefully?!?!), this polish has definitely got me in the mood to get my sunnies and sandals out.

Now all I need is that little thing called the sun - come on sun, you can do it!

Do you like this shade? What OPI polishes do you have? xxx
